Passion

Hey guys!

Its my first blog. I hope you’ll like it.☺

Yesterday I was talking to my mom about sudies, honestly speaking I’m not at all into studies. As we all know in India that Boards are the most important exams. I’m in 10^th grade. Although my mom dosen’t pressurize me to get good marks but the pressure is all around, the teachers and obviously our ‘know-it-all’ aunties and uncles are like “ beta 10^th mein good marks le aao, mann lagake padho taki acche marks aaye aur acche shool/college mein admission mil jaye.” Teachers be like ‘ boards aren’t easy, don’t take it lightly’ etc.

Anyways getting back to the topic, I was frustrated. You know with all this going on, this COVID-19 and lockdown. I was like I don’t wanna study and do my homework. Mum was like ‘you have to do it, there’s no choice you have to do it happily. It’s the only way you can pursue your passion.’ Then it struck me, what is my passion? Teenage is difficult and there’s so much going on in our minds that we aren’t able to decide what do we want from ourselves. Do we really want to just live the ordinary life, having a house and a 9to5 job and looking after our family? Is that what we really expect from ourselves? I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to live such a life. No, I want to follow my dreams and pursue my passion.

The question which now arises is that ‘what  is passion?’. According to me, passion is not something that changes everyday, it remains in your mind forever. Sometimes we are afraid to follow our passion but it stays in the depths of our hearts and when later we get the oppurtunity to pursue it, we really give our best. Passion motivates us to get up and get going.

My dear readers, there are 2 types of people in the world-

First are those who follow their passion

The othes are those who either don’t recognize their passion or are too afraid to follow it.

The choice is ours, what do we want to be?
